En los gatos, la enfermedad alcanza hasta un 35% de los felinos adultos.<br \/><br \/>Seg\u00fan el veterinario Michel Cardona, la obesidad va m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de un problema est\u00e9tico: puede causar diabetes, enfermedades articulares, respiratorias y hep\u00e1ticas, e incluso inflamaci\u00f3n cr\u00f3nica que compromete diversos \u00f3rganos.<br \/><br \/>Los expertos recomiendan acudir al veterinario para establecer un plan nutricional y de ejercicio personalizado, basado en el \u00cdndice de Condici\u00f3n Corporal (BCS). Adem\u00e1s, marcas especializadas como Hill\u2019s ofrecen dietas terap\u00e9uticas, como Hill\u2019s Metabolic, que promueven una p\u00e9rdida de peso saludable y sostenible.<br \/><br \/>Mantener una rutina de alimentaci\u00f3n controlada, actividad f\u00edsica regular y seguimiento veterinario es clave para asegurar una vida m\u00e1s larga y saludable a los peludos del
